Transport Planner

Exciting positions have become available for full-time Transport Planners based in Goresbridge Co Kilkenny. The successful candidate will work various shift patterns and earn a competitive salary.

The employer will consider trainee Transport Planners, as well as experienced Transport Planners.

The main purpose of the role is to support and assist the Transport Team in the organisation of route planning and customer service.

Role Requirements

• Previous experience within a fast paced transport planning position.

• Excellent system based transport planning experience beneficial.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

• Competent and fast paced decision making.

• Good geographical knowledge of UK & Northern Europe.

Role Responsibilities

• Route planning for collections and deliveries EU & UK.

• Efficient route planning in line within RTR and WTD guidelines.

• Working alongside the Operations and Transport Managers with an excellent support team.
