Duty Manager

Talbot Hotel Carlow, part of Talbot Collection are recruiting for an experienced Duty Manager to ensure a friendly and efficient 4 Star service throughout the property and to supervise all areas of the hotel ensuring the maintenance of agreed company standards.

You will be a strong leader and business developer, with excellent people skills and a passion for customer satisfaction. 

The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Have worked as a Duty Manager/Bar Manager/Restaurant Manager in a 4 Star property.

• Be able to lead and motivate a team.

• Maintain and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the F&B Department.

• Train and develop staff in line with company polices and SOPs.

• Forecast and roster according to budget and business levels.

• Friendly and professional work attitude.

• Fluent English essential - written and spoken.

• Must be available to work variable shifts.

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

This position will involve shift and weekend work.
