General Operative

Job Description:

Our Client is seeking to recruit a General Operative to work in a Portlaoise based manufacturing facility.

The roles involves cleaning and servicing equipment and machinery within a large animal feed production facility.

Must be mechanically minded and familiar with using power tools.

Strong attention to detail is required.

Health and Safety is very important as the role involves:

• Cleaning and servicing machinery.

• using cleaning chemicals.

• working at heights.

• manual/physical work.

Benefits:

Hours of work:  7am to 4pm.

Factory operates from (Monday to Sunday).  Shifts will cover Monday to Saturday generally and occasional Sunday’s.

Rate review after 6 months probation period is passed.

45hrs work paid per week. 

Job Requirements:

A proven track record of operating machinery in a manufacturing setting is essential.

2 Work References essential.
