Purpose of the Post

·         To provide Professional Leadership.

·         The delivery of effective, quality assured patient centered care.

·         Supervision and Education of other Health Care Staff.

·         Networking within the multi-disciplinary care setting.

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge

·         Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI or at the candidature stage be entitled to be so registered.

·         Proof of current registration as indicated above will be required.

·         Experience in care of the older person desirable but must have sincere interest and desire to work with Residents in a nursing home environment.

·         Must have a quality focus approach to his/her work.

·         Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to organise, lead and motivate people.

·         Medium level of computer proficiency.
