Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a dynamic individual to take on an exciting role as a Showroom Sales Assistant with a leading Bathroom and Tiles company in Roscrea.

This is a full-time, permanent position, 5 days between Monday-Saturday, 5pm finish. Internal promotion and growth within the company is hugely promoted and this is a great position for someone looking to grow within interiors or retail.
An interest or knowledge of CAD (2D) drawings would be a distinct advantage. Full training is provided but an understanding or an enthusiasm for using would be advantageous.

This role includes:

• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

• Assisting customers with conversion of measurements and ensuring accurate measurements for any projects or items purchased

• Help customers with selections- building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions

• Suggest applicable & relevant upsells to customers

• Prioritising customer care & offering the highest standard of customer service & aftercare

• Processing sales through the till accurately and efficiently

• Visual merchandising and pricing of stock

• Replenishment throughout the shop floor

• Keep the showroom and warehouse clean at all times

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a retail store, ideally home or interior products

• Strong customer service and sales experience

• Visual merchandising experience with strong attention to detail

• Manual handling experience – moving and rearranging of products often required

• Team player with the ability to work on own initiative

• High energy and enthusiasm

• Previous use of CAD an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €15.00-€16.50 per hour
